Attorneys for Shannon Sharpe have released an angry statement reiterating that the NFL legend is nothing more than the victim of 'opportunists' and their 'malicious lies'. Sharpe, 56, is facing a $50million rape lawsuit from an ex-girlfriend he first met when she was only 19, while another woman has told the Daily Mail about separate allegations of sexual assault. The ESPN analyst, who won Super Bowls as a player, denies the allegations and initially continued with his scheduled appearances on First Take this week.
